UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed. Stay tuned Monday when we will announce the winner. Thanks!
We are excited to announce our first giveaway!!! Saving money is not just about using coupons anymore. There are so many ways to save and mail-in rebates are a great tool in the savings arsenal. Often times submitting for a mail-in rebate used in conjunction with weekly sales deals and coupons can score you free and even money maker products. Case in point: Neutrogena Clinical. Back in July Neutrogena was running a rebate on their new clinical night or eye products. This scored anywhere from free to $33 money maker depending on where you made the purchase. We wanted to share our score with you so we are giving away a Neutrogena Clinical Night Serum kit. Here’s the scoop for entering to win.
What are we giving away?
1 winner will receive Neutrogena Night Serum
How can you win?
You get up to 3 entries to win:

For the most part, my experiences with mail in rebates have been good – I have only had a few (maybe one) refused. The rest have all been honored and all arrived!

i don't like to do very many at a time, so that i can keep track and not end up losing money if a rebate isn't issued. that's my biggest concern.

Hi! Sometimes MIR are awesome and sometimes they fall through. That's a bummer if that happens. I have a love hate relationship with them.

I have not had any problems with mail in rebates, thus far (knock on wood). My only issue with them is sending in my original receipt, I copy it before I send it in, however, I still don't like sending that original.

I am just getting the hang of the mail-in-rebate. It's not as easy as it sounds! I've have forgotten to separate receipts or duplicate "official receipts" and had more than one eligible rebate items for different rebates and had to choose. I've forgotten to clip the UPC codes. I'm always dismayed at the cost of postage – so even try me free rebates cost almost $.50 b/c of the stamp. And my mailbox is clear on the other side of my neighborhood – so getting there in the Florida heat isn't fun. But all of that aside, I'm addicted! LOL I get a great big kick out of all of it.

I haven't done a lot of rebates. I always get nervous about not sending things in exactly right and then not receiving my money back.

I haven't done too many rebates, but the ones I have done have been fine. My main complaint is they sometimes take a long time to return.

I've only done a few rebates before – big ones for printers or computers. Only one time did one company tell me I was too late for a rebate (when I really wasn't). Email: yona(at)pricelesswriters.com

I've had pretty good luck with rebates. I always make a copy or scan in the receipt before mailing them. I had one a few years back that I mailed in after the black Friday sales in November and didn't get the check until the next October. That was one of the most frustrating ones.

I love mail in rebates, because when I receive the check it goes right into my savings account. I wish there were more mail-in refund forms available. When I was first married (23 years ago), there were so many. Thanks for the nice giveaway!

I love them when I follow through with them…but I'm so disorganized that I sometimes have a hard time keeping track of them and sending them in on time. Then it kind of adds stress to my life. But I'm always excited to receive that check in the mail:) annejk112233(at)yahoo(dot)com
