Facebook Fixes to Get 4our2cents Back in the Mix!

Recently most of my Facebook time has been spent on my iPad. And apparently they have yet to change the iPad platform over to the “new” Facebook. Well, I just logged on the other day on my desk top and now see what all the commotion is about. Yes it is difficult to figure out these changes. And you might be saying, what happened to 4our2cents?! Here are a few ways to get your daily deals fix back in the mix!

:: Create A Custom List

Creating a custom list is a simple way to be able to view all of your favorite deals blogs at a glance. I have created a “Coupons” list as well as a “Companies” list. It really does make it more organized.

  1. On your main Facebook Home view, click on Lists in the left column.
  2. Click on the + Create a List button at the top of the page.
  3. Then you will need to choose “Pages” or “Friends” depending on what kind of list you are creating
  4. Type in the name in the search box or start clicking on the images for each page you want to include.
  5. Do the same for your other favorite deals sites!
  6. If you want to come back later and add more to a certain list, Click Lists, then choose the list you want to edit, then find a Manage List button at the top right to add more.

This sounds confusing. But I actually think (like most change) this could be a great way to organize your feed. Her is another solution to see more from 4our2cents.

:: Mark As Top Story

Marking a site as a top story takes slightly more work, but you’ll be able to see all of the latest posts directly in your New Top Story feed.

  1. Scroll through your Recent Stories to find a post from 4our2cents.
  2. Hover your mouse over the top right-hand corner of the post and a downward arrow will appear.
  3. Click on the arrow and select Mark as top story from the drop down box that appears.
  4. You may need to do this on a few posts for them to start appearing regularly in your New Top Story feed.

Of course this all assumes you are a fan of 4our2cents on Facebook. If you are not yet, what are you waiting for?! “Like” us today to stay connected to the deals and us! We love “chatting” with you on Facebook!

And Facebook isn’t done with the changes yet. Read this post about even more drastic changes coming in October.

Thanks to Deal Seeking Mom for the tips.
