I had a great trip to Target today and just had to share a few deals for you to watch for!
First off. In the 10/30 P&G insert, I received an interesting Cascade coupon. It says, “Buy One Cascade with Dawn Action Pac, Get One 20 ct FREE”. So my deal wheels started spinning. Since it does not exclude trial size and does not state what size you have to purchase to get the Free 20 ct…. Here is what I scored:
Buy Cascade with Dawn Action Pac Trial Size(4 pac): $0.97
Buy Cascade with Dawn Action Pac 20 ct.: 4.54
Use BOGO Cascade (P&G, 10/30)
Use $0.25 Cascade Product Target Coupon (excludes trial pac, Target Insert in SS 10/30?)
Final price= $0.72 for both pacs (24 total)
I really hope some of you can score this offer. However a few snags you might run into. First, this BOGO Cascade seems to have been a regional coupon (most got a $0.25). Second, the $0.25 Target Q is attaching to the 20 pac (since it excludes trial size) and some stores may not allow a coupon on a Free item. And finally, your store may not allow the BOGO at all (might say the coupon intended for 2 20 pacs to be bought- even though it does not state that specifically). With all that being said- I find that Target scanners are especially particular on coupon bar codes. If it is not intended to be used it will beep. None of these coupons beeped for me. And I see nothing in the fine print to lead me to believe it shouldn’t work this way. If you were lucky enough to get the BOGO, it is certainly worth trying! (let us know if it worked for you too!)
On another topic. Don’t forget to hit up the Halloween Clearance. I first stopped at the Dollar Spot (50%) to grab some note pads, cups and socks (just had orange and purple dots/ stripes not even really Halloweenish) for our Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. Then back to the Halloween section where I found Betty Crocker Fruit Roll Ups for $1.33 (used $0.50/2 from 9/11/GM) and Kids Colgate (glow in dark bottle) for $1.49 (also used $0.50 Colgate from SS, 10/30). There was plenty left at my store, but also a lot of people scoping it out. So get to your Target today for great Clearance. Remember, “dress up trunks” make great Christmas gifts too!
