We’ve been waiting for this book to be released and it is finally here. Well, not exactly! It has not been released to the public yet but a 4our2cents reader is about to be one of the first people in the country to get their hands on this book! It is written by the multi-talented Jennifer Shaw, singer, song-writer, and classically trained opera performer. Her song “Your Great Name” just recently hit #3 on the Christian Music Charts.
Through all of this success, Jennifer has been down a difficult path. As her father was being diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), her young son was showing signs of completely shutting down. He was not eating nor was he communicating. These symptoms were ultimately diagnosed as Sensory Processing Disorder. The book is an account of her journey of faith while dealing with family tragedy. If you know anyone going through a personal tragedy or living life with a special needs child, I highly recommend this book. It deals with speech delays and specifically Sensory Processing Disorder but it also speaks to the heart of any parent or adult seeking to live life with purpose.

I would love to purchase a copy of the book, if I don’t win. (I saw t is only 15.00 in the store.) I have twin boys who were diagnosed with SPD two years ago and have been blogging about it ever since.
