Great Teacher Gift Idea: Thankful Tumbler

It is time to find ways to thank the teachers in your kiddos life. I am always wanting to find a creative idea. I first found this great teacher gift idea on Pinterest and pinned the Pic on the 4our2cents “Great Ideas for Kids” board. (See the original post here) I just loved the idea and here is how it turned out for me. I used the “quenching my thirst for knowledge” phrase for the 2nd grade teacher and the the “Living Water” phrase for teachers at my twins Christian Preschool. Here are the supplies you will need:

  • Plastic Tumbler w/Straw (I love these things!)- Bought mine in a 2 pack for $7.99 at Marshal’s
  • Crystal Light Flavor packs- Bought mine at Marc’s for $1.50 a box after coupon (find coupons in the database)
  • Tissue paper- Free! This is tissue paper from the Victoria’s Secret bags when you make a purchase in store (yes I keep it!)
  • Thanks phrase paper- I created this in Word by using the “underline” feature and then changing the color from black to blue. Then cut 2 small horizontal slits to slip onto the straw.
  • Gift Card (not shown)- I will also be slipping a small gift card inside. Buy them at Kroger or Giant Eagle to earn fuel discounts.

Do you have a fun, creative, unique Teacher gift idea? Of may one for a Grad? Send us a pic and we will post it!
