Where to Get It!- Schick Hydro and Neutrogena Sun

Ever notice how several stores will run sales on the same product in a given week?  Make sure to watch for which store actually has the better deal. Schick Hydro 3 razor and Neutrogena suncreen are both on sale at CVS and Wags this week.  So who has the better deals?

*Buy the Schick Hydro 2 razor at Walgreens ($1.01 MM instead of just free at CVS)
*Buy Neutrogena suncreen (2) at CVS (as low as $3 ea.)

Of course each of these deals factors in coupons and ECB/RR.  So check out our CVS and Walgreens Deal posts for more info.  Where are you using your coupons this week?

DVD Rental Kiosks

I am a big fan of DVD Rental kiosk stations. They are so convenient and the price is right! ($1 a night) Never leave for a kiosk with out doing a search for promo codes first (use Swagbucks as your search engine).  DVDPlay and Redbox have new competition as Blockbuster Express is widening its service area. So check out a movie tonight!

"Like" Redbox on facebook to get a code for a free movie redeemable on June 21 only. Also make sure you sign up for their e-mail list to receive more promotions and to see the lists of newly released titles.

Taget Update: Eggos and Littlest Pet Shop

There are new Eggo waffle coupons for Target at Red Plum! And if you missed the first round of coupons check here too. My local Target (Sawmill Rd) has them on temporary markdown to $1.75. So I scored 75 cent Eggos! While I was there, I happended to pass by the toy isles. They had Littlest Pet shop on clearance to $2.08. I used the B1G1 and scored a great deal on the little critters. These are the perfect size to fill Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes in November.

Medco Order Update: All this for 53 cents!

This weekend we posted about a site called Medco Health. This was my first expereience with this company. It was a bit of a bummpy road, but worthwhile in the end. The codes that were out there were for $10 off your first order and $10 off a subsequant order (shipping just $0.99). Using the codes was pretty hit or miss, some worked some did not. I opened two accounts, one under my name and one under my husbands. I was able to use two codes on one account and one on the other (I read on other blogs some people were able to use up to 3 codes on one account). It did take a few days for my orders to process, but once it did shipping was fast. In the end, I would say that it is worth a try if these codes come up again. I got $30.49 worth of products for $3.53. And I plan on submitting for the Caregivers Marketplace rebate on the Cottonelle, which will bring the total down to $0.53!! Did you take advantage of this offer? What did you get? Will you try again? We'd love to hear from you!

NEW SWAG CODE Expires at 10:30PM EST

NEW SWAG CODE!!!

Hint:  Breakin' 2: Electric ______________.

Just hit search and see what you find.  Put in the word (goes in blank).  That word in all lowercase is the swag code.  Hurry.  Worth 5!

Summer Movie and Reading Programs

Today was the last day of school for my oldest, so summer has officially started. If you are like me, you are looking for free (or almost free) activities to keep the kids busy for the next few months. These movie and reading programs might just fit the bill.

Summer Movie Programs
AMC Entertainment: Tickets for Tuesday movies at 10am are only $1.
Cinemark Theatres: For $5, you can buy 10 movie tickets that can be used once per week on weekday mornings.
Regal Cinemas: Free movies will be shown at 10am every Tuesday and Wednesday.
Rave Theaters: There will be free admission to G or PG rated movies every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10am.

Free Reading Programs
Of course don't forget to check your local library for their summer reading program. Most offer incentives (prizes!) for your child's participation.

Barnes & Noble: Children in grades 1-6 can read eight books through Sept. 7 and then get one free. They have a Summer Reading Journal to help keep track of your child's books and select which one they'll get for free.
Borders: Children 12 and under get a free book when they read at least 10 books by Aug. 26.
Half Price Books: They want to "Feed Your Brain" between now and July 31. Kids ages 14 and under can earn a $3 Half Price Books shopping card for each week they read at least 15 minutes per day. They have a reading log to help keep track.
Pizza Hut: Any child in grades K-6 who reads five books between June 15 and Aug. 15 can enter to win the Summer Break Reading Challenge. Prizes include swim gear, gift cards, and more.
Pottery Barn: They hold a Book Club every Tuesday from 11-11:30am. If your child attends five events, they get a "special gift."
