SavingStar: New eCoupon Program

There is a new eCoupon service in town, SavingStar. I'm excited about this one because you can use these eCoupons at some of the largest retailers including CVS, Shaws, Giant Eagle, Kroger, Marsh Supermarkets, and many more. There are over 100 retail chains with 21,000 locations nationwide. And in light of the new eCoupon frustrations at Kroger; this is VERY exciting news!

SavingStar works like other eCoupon programs, which means nothing to clip and nothing to print. When you pre-register your store loyalty cards, your savings will be redeemed when your card is swiped at checkout. However, unlike some of the other eCoupon programs, you will not see the savings at the register. Therefore no need to worry about your paper coupon being overrided. From the SavingStar Facebook page: "The checkout person will not ask you to choose between SavingStar coupons and other coupons you may have. Your SavingStar eCoupons work independently from other services and the savings will appear in your account whenever you use them." You will get your savings deposited into your SavingStar account (same company that does eCoupons on Upromise).

You can then redeem your SavingStar savings via Bank Deposit, Paypal, or Amazon gift cards. Once you hit $5, you can select a payout option.

Have you tried this program yet?  I am going to try purchasing one of the SavingStar eCoupon items at Kroger this week.  I'll let you know how it works!

Thanks Bargain Briana!

DealPulp: $15 for $30 on Uplifting Apparel from SpeakNicely.com

So the offer on DealPulp today is not stellar, but the concept is! $15 for $30 to Spend on Uplifting Apparel and Accessories from SpeakNicely.com.  One of my pet peeves are kids shirts with negative and down right rude comments on them.  I love that the mom (of 5 kids!) who founded SpeakNicely wanted to put a positive, uplifting spin on the message T industry.

Fine print:

Limit 3 per person. May buy 3 additional as gifts. Expires November 8, 2011. Shipping not included, and is $6.00 for the first two items plus $1.00 for each additional item up to ten items. Within 48 hours after the deal ends, you will receive an email with instructions for redeeming the deal on SpeakNicely.com

Rue La La: Ways To Use That Credit Before It Expires!

If you snagged the $20 credit on Rue La La and it hasn't burned a hole in your pocket yet, here are a few options for deals.  Don't forget that credit does expire on 5/25 so you just have 2 more weeks to use it.

Today Rue La La is offering a Boutique called " We're Loving: the Outdoor Room".  You can score one of these great bucket/tubs $9.85 shipped after credit.  I love these for cookouts.

There is also a Saucony Boutique with items starting at $19.90 ($9.85 shipped after credit). And some shoes starting at $29.90 (before credit and shipping).

What have you used your credit for?  Or are you waiting on something in particular?

RSVP Ohio Mailer: $10/$25 Cheesebrger in Paradise

There usually aren't too many coupons that interest me in the RSVP Ohio Mailer.  However, recently they have had some decent coupons for Cheeseburger in Paradise.  This month be on the lookout for a $10/$25 Cheesburger coupon (for the Trueman Rd/Mill Run location).  Not as good as last time's $10 off ANY purchase, but still worth saving. If you miss it you can also find a printable postcard on their site.

For those not in Columbus.  Visit the RSVP site to see what printable offers might be available in your area.

Eversave: Family Fun Mag 1 Year Subscription As Low a FREE

Today Eversave has a one year subscription to Disney's Family Fun Magazine for $5. If you are a new member and sign up for Eversave today, you get a $4 credit.  Use this credit to pay only $1 for the magazine. This increased credit is only available to new sign ups today (5/6).  Tomorrow it goes back to $2.

But wait!  Some Eversave members will find a $5 Mother's Day credit in their account. Use these "save rewards" to get the Save for FREE!  This $5 credit expires on 5/10.  To receive Mother's Day Save Rewards, you must be a member of participating Eversave markets, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Columbus, Chicago, Indianapolis, New York City, Orlando, Phoenix, Providence, San Antonio, Seattle, Tampa and Washington D.C.

Restaurant.com: 80% Off + $15 Off ProFlowers + 25% Cash Back

Personally, I prefer a night off of cooking over flowers and chocolate!  I am sure the mom in your life might agree.  Right now you can save 80% off most Restaurant.com $25 Gift Certificates! Use code MOM at checkout now through 5/8/11.  This makes most $25 certificates only $2.  And if you want to get her the flowers too, you will also get a one-time use promo code for $15 off any purchase at Proflowers.com with every order.

Are you an online rebates shopper?  Than don't forget to score this deal by shopping through Ebates first.  You will earn 25% cash back on this purchase.  Making a $25 certificate only $1.50 (after promo code and cash back)!

Grocery Gleaning: 5/1- 5/11

Highlighted are free and cheap items that are perfect for donation to local food banks and pantires. This week and next we encourage you to pack up these items for the Stamp Out Hunger Mail Carriers Food Drive (5/14).  Visit Couponing to Community to add your donations to their tracker (See our Progress Link).
