Daily Deal Sites

So it seems like group buying and daily deal sites are popping up, well daily! ;)  Group buying sites offer discounted services or gift certificates for local or online businesses.  Most of these deals are only available for a day (sometimes 2 or 3).  Another type of daily deal site is the shop/boutique style.  These sites offer designer and high end merchandise at a fraction of the cost.  Again, these offers are only available for a few days and are limited in quantity. Most of the time (but not always) these sites offer free credits when you first sign up.  And all of them offer some sort of referral incentives for you to get friends to join. Also each of these sites will offer you a daily e-mail to let you know what is on tap for the day.  Here are a few of our faves:

Nomorerack: A little different than the rest.  Each day at Noon EST they offer 8 "deals" on apparel, toys, home and garden or cosmetic items.  Once they're gone, they're gone.  When you sign up you should get a promo code (write it down) for $10 off your first $20 purchase.  After signing up, apply that code as a "gift card" for it to be added to your account.
